U organizaciji Hrvatskog torakalnog društva Toraks, Klinike za plućne bolesti KBC-a
Split i Akademije medicinskih znanosti Hrvatske – Podružnica Split, održao se 11. i 12. travnja
2025. u Hotelu AC Marriott u Splitu drugu godinu za redom Multidisciplinarni međunarodni Tečaj
1. kategorije „PulmoCaSt“.
Ovaj stručni i znanstveni skup okupio je specijaliste i specijalizante iz područja
pulmologije, onkologije, interne medicine, obiteljske medicine, radiologije, torakalne kirurgije,
patologije, citologije, kao i medicinske sestre/tehničare s ciljem unaprijeđenja skrbi i poboljšanja
ishoda liječenja bolesnika s karcinomom pluća i s drugim torakalnim tumorima.
Dio programa bio je posvećen iskustvima bolnica s područja Hrvatske i susjednih
zemalja kada je u pitanju dijagnostika i liječenje karcinoma pluća, a bilo je govora i o provedbi i
rezultatima Nacionalnog programa za rano otkrivanje raka pluća koji se u Hrvatskoj provodi od
2020. godine.
Kroz cijeli program istaknut je značaj multidisciplinarnog pristupa u liječenju i skrbi za
onkološke bolesnike,u ovom slučaju one s karcinomom pluća.
Na tečaju su aktivno sudjelovali članovi Hrvatskog društva onkoloških medicinskih
sestara i tehničara.
